How to find and register for Peace and Conflict Studies classes Summer and Fall of 2018
Beginning in Fall, 2017, the Center for Applied Conflict Management became the new School of Peace and Conflict Studies.
Effective for Fall, 2018, the title of the major and minor will officially change from Applied Conflict Management to Peace and Conflict Studies.
When students search for or register for Summer 2018 or Fall 2018 classes, the drop-down course subject menu will have Peace and Conflict Studies as an option—you will no longer find Applied Conflict Management as a course subject option in the drop-down menu.
Please note that our individual course titles are remaining the same for next year. And, due to an unfortunate scheduling glitch, the course prefix will remain as CACM for next year as well.
We have a wonderful slate of classes scheduled for next year and our award-winning faculty look forward to working with you in those classes. This summer we are offering the Negotiation class as well as Intro to CM. In the fall you can choose from: Gender, Power and Conflict; International Conflict Resolution; Conflict Theory; Negotiation; Mediation; Nonviolence; and Environmental Conflict Resolution.
Don’t forget: the name of the degree and the course subject drop-down menu will be Peace and Conflict Studies. The prefix remains CACM for the time being, and the course titles themselves remain the same.
