Race, Place, and Political Boundaries event on September 21

Tuesday, September 21 from 2 - 4 pm

Join the Growing Democracy Project for the first event of the new Race and Democracy in Northeast Ohio Series!  A program on "Race, Place and Political Boundaries" will be held on Tuesday, September 21, from 2 - 6 pm in Oscar Ritchie Hall, room 250.  The event will also be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend in person.

The Race and Democracy in Northeast Ohio Series is a collaboration with the School of Peace and Conflict Studies (SPCS) and the Center for Pan-African Culture (CPAC).

The program will explore the relationship between race and place, focusing on the significance of political boundaries–from redistricting to redlining. The event will be part teach-in/ facilitated discussion and part map-drawing workshop. Join us for all or part of the event.

Details of the event can be found at https://growingdemocracyoh.org/events/race-place-and-political-boundaries/

Masks are required for those attending in person.  Live streaming links and parking information can be found on the event page.
