The Office of Sponsored Programs maintains reports and records of recent proposal and grant award activity. The support of faculty in submitting an unprecedented number of grant applications with a robust grants management system is critical for Kent State to achieve its goal of an upward trajectory in research awards.
Our Award Activity Reports include quarterly extramural funding breakdowns for Fiscal Years 2014 through 2017 and include summaries of funding by department as well as five-year comparisons. Fiscal Year 2018 data is currently available for the first three quarters.
The Proposal Activity Reports for Fiscal Years 2014 (580 proposals), 2015 (608 proposals) and 2016 (668 proposals) include breakdowns by funding source type, amounts requested by each college and division, the number of proposals submitted by each college and division, types and amounts of proposals submitted by each college and division, a five-year quarterly comparison of proposal submission activity, and a unit-level detail of proposal activity.
In Fiscal Year 2017, the Office of Sponsored Programs submitted 552 proposals. Fiscal Year 2018 proposal activity data will be made available in July.
