The Office of Sponsored Programs maintains reports and records of recent proposal and grant award activity. The support of faculty in submitting an unprecedented number of grant applications with a robust grants management system is critical for Kent State to achieve its goal of an upward trajectory in research awards.
Our Award Activity Reports include quarterly extramural funding breakdowns for fiscal years 2014, 2015, and 2016. Fiscal year 2014 also includes a breakdown by academic department, a summary of funding, and a five-year comparison. That information is not yet available for 2015 or 2016.
The Proposal Activity Reports for Fiscal Years 2014 (580 proposals) and 2015 (608 proposals) include breakdowns by funding source type, amounts requested by each college and division, the number of proposals submitted by each college and division, types and amounts of proposals submitted by each college and division, a five-year quarterly comparison of proposal submission activity, and a unit-level detail of proposal activity.
In Fiscal Year, 2016, the Office of Sponsored Programs facilitated a record number of proposal submissions — 668, up 10% over Fiscal Year 2015. No report is available yet for this year's proposal activity.
