ENTER GRADES IN BLACKBOARD
This guide shows how to manually enter grades in the Grade Center. For grading submissions made through Blackboard tools (such as assignments, tests, discussion boards, etc.), view the how to guide for the particular tool.
1. Log into Blackboard
Log into Blackboard Learn at learn.kent.edu or through FlashLine.
2. Enter your course
Click on the name of your course to access it.
3. Access the Full Grade Center
In the Control Panel, click to expand the Grade Center section. Then click the Full Grade Center link.
4. Locate the grade column
Locate the grade column for which you want to enter grades. Note that you cannot manually enter grades into calculated columns such as totals or weighted totals.
5. Click into the cell
Click the cell into which you want to type, then click in the input field.
6. Type in the grade
Type the grade into the cell. Enter the grade in whichever format the column is set to display (score, percentage, letter, etc.).
7. Save the grade
Press enter on your keyboard to save the grade and move down to the next cell in the column.
Repeat the process until all grades are entered.
