Private & Home School Students

Ohio's College Credit Plus program gives students in grades 7-12 the chance to earn high school and college credit simultaneously by taking courses at participating Ohio colleges or universities.

Tuition is free for nonpublic (private) school and home school students if they take classes at a public college.

Interested students must apply and complete required documents by the application deadline at Kent State Stark.

Important Dates for Private School Students

  • Review website for Nonpublic School Families
  • Before March 31: Complete school counseling requirement
  • Feb. 15 - April 1: Submit the private school Letter of Intent pdf
  • Feb. 15 - April 15: Sign up for a SAFE account
  • Feb. 25 - April 15: Apply for funding
  • Before May 15: Funding award notifications sent
