The Kent State Project Management Certificate provides the skills professionals need to improve performance, provide leadership and deliver projects on time and on budget. Particular emphasis is placed on defining the customer’s requirements and building a realistic schedule. The tools and principles taught in the three-day certificate program are based on the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
These programs can be taken individually or as part of the certificate.

Note: The three-day Project Management Certificate offered by Kent State University is not presented as an exam preparation program, however, it will provide 21 hours of project management education. The PMP certification, established by the Project Management Institute (PMI), is one of the most valued and respected credentials in project management. Earning and maintaining this certification demonstrates a solid foundation in effectively managing projects. PMP certification requires application through PMI.
