Download Assignment Submissions
DOWNLOAD STUDENTS' BLACKBOARD ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSIONS
You can download students assignment submissions to your computer in order to view and grade offline or print. You have two options: download an individual student's submission or download all students' submissions together.
DOWNLOAD AN INDIVIDUAL STUDENT'S SUBMISSION
1. LOG INTO BLACKBOARD
Log into Blackboard Learn through learn.kent.edu or through FlashLine.
2. ENTER YOUR COURSE
Click on the name of your course to access it.
3. ACCESS THE FULL GRADE CENTER
In the Control Panel, click to expand the Grade Center section. Then click the Full Grade Center link.

4. Access the submission
Locate the cell for the student’s assignment submission, which will either have a grade or a "needs grading" icon in the cell (a blank cell indicates no submission). Click the drop-down arrow in the cell, then select Attempt [date] from the menu. The student’s submission will be displayed.

5. Download the Submission
Once the student’s submission loads, click the Download button toward the bottom of the grading panel on the right.

6. Save and open the file
Save the file to your computer, then open the file to view, grade, print, etc. as needed.
DOWNLOAD ALL STUDENTS' SUBMISSIONS FOR AN ASSIGNMENT
1. LOG INTO BLACKBOARD
Log into Blackboard Learn through learn.kent.edu or through FlashLine.
2. ENTER YOUR COURSE
Click on the name of your course to access it.
3. ACCESS THE FULL GRADE CENTER
In the Control Panel, click to expand the Grade Center section. Then click the Full Grade Center link.

4. Access Assignment File Downloads
Locate the column for the assignment. Click the drop-down arrow in the column heading, then click Assignment File Download from the menu. All students' submissions will be displayed in a list.

5. Select Submissions and Options
Select which users’ submissions you want to download (you can select the first checkbox to select all submissions). Select whether you want to download all submissions or only the most recent (applicable to assignments which have multiple attempts enabled). Then click the Submit button.

6. Download the File
Blackboard will package all the submissions into a .zip file. Click on the Download Assignments Now link to download the .zip file.

7. Open, Extract, and View Files
Open the .zip file and extract the files within, then view, grade, print, etc. as needed.
