Students can complete the Human Development & Family Studies minor in its entirety at Kent State Stark.

For students planning to pursue careers that involve working with people, this minor provides valuable knowledge about biopsychosocial development, family relationships and processes across the lifespan. Select courses are offered online at least one semester each academic year. This minor is particularly suitable for students majoring in fields such as communication studies, community health education, education, nursing, psychology, public health, recreation management, sociology, speech pathology and audiology.
