International Friends Conversation Partner Program
The International Friends Conversation Partner Program connects students from around the world to deepen social bonds, develop intellectual networking and heighten awareness of global issues through peer-to-peer dialogue using virtual platforms.
Throughout the year, small groups will work together to identify a credit-bearing research-based project to complete. Lines of inquiry will be student-led with access to expert faculty at Kent State University and international partner institutions.
In addition to independent research projects, conversation partner groups will be invited to participate in virtual learning opportunities like seminars and round-table discussions on current events with renowned scholars, professionals and activists.
As a culminating experience, all participants will have the opportunity to travel to Kent State University to present their research at the annual International Friends conference.
