Of Mice and Men

by John Steinbeck

Of Mice and MenTwo drifters, George and his friend Lennie, have just arrived at a ranch to work for enough money to buy their own place. Lennie is a man-child, a little boy in the body of a dangerously powerful man.

When the ranch boss’ wife is found dead, it is obvious that Lennie accidentally killed her. George wrestles with moral questions as he sets off to find Lennie before the ranchers.
