KSU Heart Climb 2018
KSU Heart Climb is the kickoff event for the 'Step Your Way Up to a Healthier Lifestyle' stair campaign that seeks to encourage stair use across Kent State University Campuses. The event will raise awareness about benefits of taking the stairs, with an emphasis on cardiovascular/heart health. February is heart health month, and what better way to highlight the event than to encourage preventive behavior such as physical activity, free and easily available to all!
Please pre-register below and complete a brief survey about your stair use. Event day walk-ins are welcome, as well! The event is open to all: KSU students, faculty and staff, in addition to community members. Come with friends or colleagues!
Climbing the Library stairs from the 1st floor to the 12th is considered one lap. How many laps can you do?
Arrive any time between noon to 1:30 p.m., check in and start climbing. You'll receive a goodie bag when you're done. All participants will be entered in a raffle drawing to win great prizes! The first 50 participants to register will receive a t-shirt. Anyone that completes two or more laps consecutively will be entered in an additional raffle for a chance to win a grand prize!
