Student Advisory Council
The Student Advisory Council for the Career Services Office in the College of Business, is an outstanding group of mixed-level students, across all business majors, who serve as a sounding board and voice for their peers in relation to professional practices. Volunteering at CSO events, assisting in the development and promotion of career opportunities and acting as representatives at collaborative employee engagements, this group of young professionals allows the Career Service Office to stay student-focused and centered on the needs of the college. SAC member's voice and actions have a direct impact within the university as they and prepare for their entrance into the world of work.
Meetings are typically once a month.
A candidate for Student Advisory Council must be an undergraduate student with a major or minor in the college of business along with a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
