Step Up & Speak Out

Mental health issues are an increasing concern on college campuses, with faculty and staff in the role of "first responsers" to crises and other difficult situations. Step Up and Speak Out was created to assist you in making choices when responding to individuals in emotional distress, those at risk for suicide and those who may exhibit disruptive behavior. Kent State Univeristy is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our campus community, and you can be part of this effort.

University Health Services (UHS) at Kent State University is located in the DeWeese building on Eastway Drive.

University Health Services

University Health Services provides non-emergent outpatient care to all eligible students, faculty, and staff, including: examination and treatment for illness and minor injuries, women's health care, laboratory, x-ray, physical therapy, pharmacy services, and health education through all departments of UHS and under the Division of Student Affairs.
