The Center for Adult and Veteran Services is dedicated to enhancing the experience of the non-traditional student both in and out of the classroom.

Dean of Students

The Dean of Students serves as the university's primary student advocate and assists the Vice President for Student Affairs in the leadership of the division. The Dean of Students manages departments that provide student development opportunities and support services. The Dean also works with the Student Affairs staff to help promote a culture where diversity is encouraged and where students learn to respect differences, develop leadership skills and take responsibility for their actions.

The FLASHcard is your Kent State University ID card and more. Your card will let you take materials out of the Kent State libraries, access services such as Student Recreation & Wellness Center and athletic events, and purchase goods and services both on and off campus.

Office of Student Conduct

Kent State University is a student-centered institution that engages students in diverse learning environments. Student Ombuds

The primary goal of the Office of the Student Ombuds is to provide students confidential consultation in assisting with the possible resolution of any university-related concern, grievance or appeal.
