5th Annual Bra Recycling Drive

Williamson House and Harbourt Hall

Kent State University’s Office of Sustainability and the Women’s Center are hosting a bra recycling drive, October 1 through November 6, to collect reusable or worn-out bras and reduce the number of textiles in landfills. Bras that are in good condition will be donated to the Portage County Community Clothing Center, and worn-out bras will be recycled. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Women's Center offers screening mammograms to qualified Kent State employees, spouses and students in October and April.

Bras that are washed and clean can be dropped off at the Women’s Center Williamson House or at the Office of Sustainability at Suite 101 in Harbourt Hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m October 1 through November 6, or sent via intercampus mail.
