Since the first Alumni Day of Service in 2009, Kent State University alumni and friends have given back on behalf of their alma mater.

Biology major Nirmala Ghimirey grew up in a refugee camp in Nepal. Upon coming to the U.S. at age 14, she met her mentors who told her about the biology program at Kent.
