Alumni Jeff Richmond and Tee Boyich Help Bring "Mean Girls" to Life On Stage

When new musical "Mean Girls" makes its debut at Washington, D.C.'s National Theatre on Tuesday, Oct. 31, it will include two Kent State University alumni amongst its company: composer Jeff Richmond and cast member Tee Boyich. Following its run in Washington, D.C., Mean Girls will open on Broadway in March 2018.

Alumnus Dylan Ratell Appears on Swedish TV Program

School of Theatre and Dance alumnus Dylan Ratell, who graduated in 2015 with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, is appearing on Season 7 of Sweden's reality television program "Allt För Sverige" (The Great Swedish Adventure).

Alumnus Scott Miesse Works to Bring New Play Off-Broadway

B.F.A. Musical Theatre alumnus Scott Miesse is working to bring his play Abnormal Off-Broadway in the Spring of 2018. The play made its New York City debut on October 6 in a staged reading at Shetler Studios Penthouse 1. Abnormal was originally performed as part of the School of Theatre and Dance’s Student Theatre Festival.
