Bridget Langguth (from Mentor, OH) is a second-year member of the Kent Dance Ensemble. Bridget is going into her final year at Kent State University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance studies along with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Bridget has performed in numerous faculty concerts and student concerts while at Kent State University. Bridget also performed at the National College Dance Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., as well as the Cleveland Dance Showcase at Playhouse Square with the ensemble in the piece "Aftermath" by Catherine Meredith. Along with dance, Bridget has choreographed a piece titled Resilient “She,” which will be presented in Thailand this year. Bridget has studied with the Limon and Rioult professional dance companies. She also has been awarded the honor of being a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honors Society of Nursing. This year, Bridget will be traveling abroad as treasure of the “East Meets West” program dancing and presenting her own choreography, Resilient “She." She will also be the assistant to the artistic director for the faculty dance concert, "Dance ’18: TranscenDance." Bridget is humbled to be a part of this pre-professional company and cannot wait to see her growth with the ensemble this year.
