Morgan Walker

(Diamond, OH) BFA Dance Performance, Senior. 

A third-year member of the Kent Dance Ensemble, Morgan also serves as the historian of the Student Dance Education Organization, a member of Alpha Psi Omega, and Assistant Artistic Director for Dance ’17: Mosaic. She has performed in numerous faculty and student choreographed concerts at Kent State. Morgan has participated in the American College Dance Association (ACDA) conferences performing in guest artist, student, and self-choreographed works, and was awarded the School of Theatre and Dance, Dance Scholarship and the Faculty Emerging Artist Award. Morgan also traveled to Florence, Italy with the Kent Dance Ensemble to attend the OpenFlr dance intensive where she received the Barcelona International Dance Exchange Scholarship. She also received a full scholarship to attend the Jon Lehrer Dance Intensive in Buffalo, NY. Upon graduation, Morgan plans to dance professionally, earn her M.F.A. in Dance, and eventually own a dance school and company.
