2017-2018 Season Continues with "Little Women: The Broadway Musical"
Kent, OH – The School of Theatre and Dance at Kent State University continues its 2017-2018 season with "Little Women: The Broadway Musical." The production is directed by professor and Porthouse Theatre producing artistic director Terri Kent and runs Fri., Nov. 3 through Sun., Nov. 12 in E. Turner Stump Theatre, located in the Roe Green Center for the School of Theatre and Dance, Center for the Performing Arts, 1325 Theatre Drive, Kent, OH 44242.

The box office is open Mon. – Fri., Noon to 5 pm. Tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for Kent State University alumni, faculty and staff, $14 for seniors (60+) and non-Kent State students age 18 and under are $10. Tickets for full-time, Kent campus undergraduates are free of charge. Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets for $12 per person. Flex pass subscriptions are also available. The box office accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, checks, and cash.
In "Little Women," the March sisters come to life on stage in the musical version of Louisa May Alcott's beloved novel of the same name. Amidst the American Civil War, Jo March weaves her story and those of her sisters as they embark on journeys of self discovery, hope, heartache and everlasting love.
The production and design team includes music direction by assistant professor Jennifer Korecki, scenic design by Patrick Ulrich, technical direction by Chris Seifert, lighting design by Mo Epps, costume design by Brittney Harrell, and sound design by Stewart Blackwood. Shay Knuth is the props master, Becca Martin is the assistant director and Emma Burns is the production stage manager.
