Alumni Participate in American Theatre Wing's Springboard NYC

School of Theatre and Dance alumni Cody Hernandez (BFA '14) and Rachel Meyer (BFA '14) were selected to participate in the American Theatre Wing's SpringboardNYC program this past June. SpringboardNYC is an intensive two week program taught by the best and brightest working in theatre today, giving young actors a head start for working life in New York. Cody and Rachel benefited from Master Classes with Broadway actors such as as Neil Patrick Harris and Bryan Cranston. The program takes place in the two weeks prior to the Tony Awards and participants attend the Tony Awards dress rehearsal and telecast. As pictured in the photograph at left, Cody and Rachel did attend the 2014 Tony Awards and were official seat fillers during the ceremony.
