Latinx in Theatre Student Organization to Present Evening of Performance

The School of Theatre and Dance's Latinx in Theatre student organization and Cleveland-based LatinUS Theatre Company have partnered to present an evening of theatre on Sat., Oct. 20 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Erdmann-Zucchero Theatre, Center for the Performing Arts, 1325 Theatre Drive, Kent, OH 44242.

LatinUS Theatre Company will present Miguel de Cervantes' classic "La Cueva de Salamanca," directed by Ines Jones. The piece will be performed in Spanish.

Latinx in Theatre will present Carmen Rivera's coming-of-age story "La Gringa." The staged reading of "La Gringa" will be performed in English. 

Admission to the event is FREE and no tickets are required. Parking is available in the C-Lot directly across from the Center for the Performing Arts located at 1325 Theatre Drive, Kent, OH 44242.

The event is co-sponsored by Kent State's School of Theatre and Dance and the Kent State Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
