
Denise McConnell Carper
Biography
Denise McConnell Carper began her employment at Kent State University in 1989 as a Word Processing Specialist for the Dance program. A graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School’s Cooperative Office Education program, she brought with her 16 years of prior experience as a secretary/administrative assistant for companies and educational institutions including the administrative offices of the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools and the registrar’s/admissions office of the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in Rapid City, South Dakota. Ms. Carper is an important resource for the Dance Division Coordinator, faculty and students. Besides knowing where to direct students to find answers to their important KSU related questions, Ms. Carper is responsible for a multitude of tasks, including clerical support for the Dance program, along with course scheduling for the entire School of Theatre and Dance.
