Orientation Dates for Admitted Students

Day Date  Location
Saturday  November 3, 2018 Henderson Hall
Monday January 7, 2019 Kent Student Center
Tuesday January 8, 2019 Kent Student Center

TKS is a full day program orientation for transfer students. Students should refer to their confirmation email for a check-in time and location and plan to be on campus until 5 p.m. Students will be introduced to campus resources, meet with an academic advisor, build their fall schedule and get their FLASHcard (KSU ID). Students will have an opportunity to attend an interactive workshop of their choice.  Students who are planning to live on campus in the fall can take advantage of a special session of TKS that features an overnight experience.  At orientation, students will meet other transfer students and engage in some fun activities to assist them in learning their way around campus.

Although not required, students can bring up to two guests. It is important for you to begin building rapport with your academic advisor so we ask that guests do not attend your advising session. If you have any other questions, E-mail Student Success Programs at transfer@kent.edu or call 330 672-2014.
