Congratulations on your admission to Kent State University!
Here are some resources that may be of assistance to you.
Transfer Kent State (TKS) Orientation
Transfer Kent State (TKS) is a full-day orientation program designed to meet the needs of students transferring to Kent State. You will be introduced to campus resources, meet with an academic advisor, build your class schedule and get your FLASHcard (KSU ID). All transfer students, regardless of number of credit hours, are encouraged to attend TKS.
Transfer in a Flash Events
Transfer in a Flash events are designed specifically to help students transferring to Kent State complete all necessary steps as quickly and easily as possible. At the event, you will have the opportunity to review your transfer credit evaluation, receive academic advising, register for classes, and meet with key student services offices.
Parking Services sells student parking passes and provides parking maps for the campus.
Commuter & Off-Campus Student Organization
The Commuter & Off-Campus Student Organization (COSO) has a large membership that serves as the primary resource for commuter students. COSO works to ensure a commuter friendly campus, which provides free services, programs, and events that coordinate with commuter student schedules.
