Conduct the Daily Self Check

As you are all aware, there has been an escalation of cases of COVID-19 cases across Ohio (over 5,000 daily in recent days). To do our part to stop the spread and save lives, we all must follow Flashes Safe Seven including the daily self-check.

Answer YES or NO to each question. If you answer YES to any symptom: stay home, contact your medical provider and call the COVID Response Team at 330-672-2525.

✅ Do you have any symptoms as defined by the CDC?

  •  Fever or chills
  •  Cough
  •  Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  •  New loss of taste or smell
  •  Fatigue
  •  Muscle or body aches
  •  Headache
  •  Sore throat, congestion, or runny nose
  •  Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

✅ Within the last 14 days, have you been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has been placed in isolation for COVID-19?

✅ Have you had a COVID-19 test prescribed by a medical professional because you have recently had symptoms and you are currently waiting for the results?

✅ Have you been asked to self-isolate or quarantine by a medical professional or a local public health official?

We have done a great job of keeping the campus community safe this semester, so I encourage us all to do all we can to finish up the Fall semester safely.
