Kent State Trumbull Celebrates Students and Announces Scholarships for Twenty Under 20 Award Winners
(Warren, OH) Tonight, Kent State University at Trumbull will recognize students who earned President’s and Dean’s lists, are a part of the Honors Program and/or received scholarship. The Celebration of Academic Excellence will be held 6 -8 p.m. in the Kent State Trumbull Auditorium, located in the Classroom/Administration Building, 4314 Mahoning Ave. N.W. in Warren.
With tonight’s keynote speaker being Charles Jarvis, Publisher, Tribune Chronicle, Dr. Lance Grahn, Dean and Chief Administrative Officer, Kent State Trumbull will announce the campus will partner with the paper and offer scholarships to next year’s “Twenty Under 20” award recipients.
According to Dr. Lance Grahn, , each of the 20 recipients will be offered a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship for full-time study that is stackable with other Kent State Trumbull scholarships. Kent State Trumbull looks for students who not only achieve academically, but also  contribute to and provide leadership in the community.

“Kent State Trumbull is proud to partner with the Tribune Chronicle in recognizing these remarkable young adults,” said Grahn. “They are models for us all.  And we are grateful to the Tribune Chronicle for providing us this opportunity.”

Many of these award winners could qualify for other scholarship opportunities at Kent State Trumbull, and could stack them so that their first year would be nearly  tuition free.
