Online Degree Programs
The Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies degree is offered in completion through Trumbull Campus. It is designed for students who are beginning their academic study or for students who hold an associate degree or have completed some college-level coursework; the program will accommodate varied educational backgrounds, develop competencies needed for success in a variety of work settings and offer major courses in schedules attractive to traditional students and to time- and place-bound adults.
Students may declare one of the nine optional concentrations within the Technical and Applied Studies major listed below, or select the major without a concentration.

The Associate of Applied Business in Computer Technology degree is offered in completion through Trumbull Campus. This degree provides students with a core consisting of programming, operating systems and networks, Web site development and workgroup productivity technologies. Students may choose from concentrations in specific areas including applications development, Internet/multimedia, and network technologies. These concentrations allow students to focus their studies and begin to prepare for various professional certifications. There is also a general concentration that prepares students for positions in small- and medium-sized organizations that require computer staff to perform a wide variety of technical duties. In addition, the concentrations may articulate fully or in part with concentrations in the Bachelor of Technical and Applied studies and available certificates in computer forensics and information security, and advanced Internet; please contact an advisor for more information.
The Associate of Technical Study in Environment Management degree is offered in completion through Trumbull Campus. This degree is for students who have completed registered green industry apprenticeship/journeyman training programs. Graduates of the program are prepared to work as administrative and supervisory personnel in a variety of arboriculture, urban forestry and landscape management settings.
The Associate of Applied Business degree in Office Technology degree is offered in completion through Trumbull Campus. This degree focuses primarily on front-end office functions, where employees use technology for daily job responsibilities that may include producing business documents, designing presentations, generating data reports and creating financial spreadsheets. Students use the most current versions of business software applications and learn the fundamentals of accounting, automated records management, business communications and resource management. Graduates gain a wide variety of computer application skills needed for gainful employment in office administrative support positions, including office assistant, accounting clerk, office manager, administrative coordinator, executive administrative and administrative assistant–technology.
