April 26 roundtable will highlight young entrepreneurs

In anticipation of National Small Business Week (April 29-May 5), eight young entrepreneurs will gather and discuss challenges and successes as they continue to establish their businesses in the Mahoning Valley. The “Young Entrepreneurs Roundtable,” presented by Kent State University at Trumbull and The Business Journal, will be held on Thursday, April 26 in the Kent State Trumbull Auditorium.

Entrepreneurs include:
•    Joe Asente (Millennial Theatre Company)
•    Adam Keck (Modern Methods Brewing Company)
•    Sarra Mohn (Jet Creative)
•    Sydney Olejnik (Millennial Theatre Company)
•    Logan Reinard (Nova Coffee Co)
•    Emily Rusu (Jet Creative)
•    Marisa Sergi (RedHead Wine)
•    Deryck Toles (Inspiring Minds)

“This is a great opportunity to bring these success stories to campus for our students and the community,” said Dr. Lance Grahn, Dean and Chief Administrative Officer. “It’s a natural link to some of our new four-year programs like Theatre and Information Technology, and our two-and four-year Business Management programs.”

Dan O’Brien, associate editor, The Business Journal, will moderate the discussion.

The roundtable is from 3-4:30 p.m. After the event, attendees are invited to meet the entrepreneurs from 5-7 p.m. at Modern Methods Brewing Company, located at 125 David Grohl Alley in Downtown Warren.
