Engineering Technology Opportunity Expo 2017
The Engineering Technology Advisory Board, faculty of Kent State University at Tuscarawas and the local Professional Engineering Society are jointly sponsoring an Engineering Opportunity Expo as part of the activities of National Engineers Week.
Participating companies will have displays describing the products they manufacture and services they provide. In addition, representatives will be present to answer questions about their products, services and the technical skills involved. Information will be presented on job opportunities, industry needs in the various fields of engineering technology, expected salaries, educational needs, etc. You can also learn about the associate and bachelor’s degree programs in engineering technology offered at Kent State Tuscarawas.
SPECIAL FEATURES - Kent State Tuscarawas 2017 DIGITAL LOGIC, 3D SCULPTING WITH ZBRUSH, UNREAL ENGINE FOR GAME DESIGN, AND ROBOTICS COMPETITIONS: Display of all entries. Awards will be presented to the three top winners of each competition. The award ceremony will begin at approximately 7 P.M. in the Student Union. The bridge contest testing and judging will be conducted in the gymnasium by the Cyber Club advisory council and the Tuscarawas Valley Society of Professional Engineers from 5:30 to 8 P.M.
Everyone is invited! Students, parents, teachers, counselors and anyone who wants to find out about the tremendous opportunities available in the engineering/technology field and what it takes to be successful in the field.
