Blue Gold Admissions Info Night at the PAC

Learn More About Kent State Tuscarawas

Kent State University at Tuscarawas will hold Blue Gold Night at the PAC on Feb. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. This interactive admissions event utilizes an expo format to enable attendees to choose what information they need regarding admissions and the academic programs at Kent State Tuscarawas.

“This expo format allows prospective students to visit all or only some of the information stations that will be part of this information night,” said Admissions Advisor Jennifer Greer. “Attendees can choose which special areas of study that they are interested in and want to visit. We will have individual professors and directors from more than 15 different academic programs such as Nursing, Business, Computer Technology, Criminology, Education, Engineering Technology and Vet. Tech, to name a few. This program is designed to be fun and informative.”

Attendees can also visit with representatives from admissions, athletics and student clubs. Tours of Kent State Tuscarawas will be offered. This informal information night is open to all types of students – high school juniors and seniors, adult students, transfer students and individuals who have attended college but have not completed a degree.

By attending this event, applicants will have their $45 admission application fee waived.

During this event, there will also be a College Credit Plus Information Session held at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC theatre. This session is for students in grades 7 through 12, along with their parents to learn more about Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) program through which college-ready students may participate in college classes. To register for this CCP information session, RSVP at www.kent.edu/tusc/college-credit-plus.
