Indian Valley Runner Signs With Cross Country Team

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of an Indian Valley High School graduating senior to their cross country team. On April 28, Kim Nichols signed a Letter of Intent to run for the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles Cross Country Team.

Nichols was a two-year letter winner for the Braves and was an integral part of Indian Valley’s regional qualifying cross country team in 2016.  She plans to major in athletic training in college.

“It’s wonderful to have Kim sign on to be a Golden Eagle,” said Mark Albaugh, Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. “Kim is a very hard worker and her best running is yet to come.  I fully expect her to come in and be a major contributor right away.  She is a very soft-spoken young lady who has lots of heart and will do everything in her power to out-work you and beat you to the finish line.”

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
