Kent State Tuscarawas Holds Community Open House

Kent State University at Tuscarawas will hold a Community Open House in honor of the 50th Anniversary on University Drive on Sunday, Sept. 16, from 1 to 3 p.m. Founders Hall, the Science and Advanced Technology Center and the Performing Arts Center will be open for guided tours.

Guests can explore several of the learning areas in Founders Hall, such as the Academic Learning Commons, the Technology Zone in the Engineering Technology wing and the Educational Learning and Veterinary Technology labs.

In the Science and Advanced Technology Center, the Heart of Nursing and First-Class Scientists labs will be open for tours and information.

Tours of the Performing Arts Center, the premier arts and cultural presenter in Tuscarawas County, will also be featured. Visitors will get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what it’s like to bring in national touring shows to the 1,100 seat Performing Arts Center.
