Kent State Tuscarawas Homecoming

Kent State University at Tuscarawas alumni, and former faculty and staff, and campus friends are invited to join the campus community to celebrate homecoming activities Sept. 26 to Oct. 1. 

Food Truck Frenzy will be held Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot and is open to the public. There is a $1 admission which supports Kent State Tuscarawas athletics. 

A Homecoming Tailgate Party is scheduled for Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. outside Founders Hall. During this event the homecoming king and queen will be announced. The court is comprised of Christopher Adamsky and Tayla Barker of New Philadelphia, Marcos Borges of Avaré, SP, Brazil, Miranda Immel of Dover and Sarah Sanders of Port Washington. The Kent State Tuscarawas homecoming court will represent the campus at the homecoming parade and football game at the Kent Campus on Oct. 1.

The improv musical comedy, Broadway’s Next H!T Musical will be on stage at the Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 30. Tickets start at $30. Student tickets are $5.

Also on Oct. 1, the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles women’s volleyball team will compete against Akron Wayne in women’s volleyball at noon in the Founders Hall gymnasium. This game is open to the public.
