Kent State Tuscarawas Signs Claymont Runners to Cross Country Team

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of four Claymont High School graduating seniors to their cross country team. On Feb. 21, Kieran Gitonga, Trevor Breehl, Dan Redmond and Angel Ervin signed Letters of Intent to run for the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles Cross Country Team.

Gitonga, Breehl and Redmond are two-year letter winners for the Mustangs. Ervin earned four varsity letters for the Mustangs girls team.  All were regional qualifiers for the past two seasons.

“We are so proud to have these young people coming to our campus,” said Rob Brindley, athletic director for Kent State Tuscarawas. “Each will be a great asset to our academic and athletic programs, and they also exemplify the true meaning of the term student-athlete.”

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
