SEARCH KENT STATE
The Kent State University at Tuscarawas Engineering Technology Department held the Regional Bridge Building Contest for area high school students on Feb. 23, 2017. Students participated from the following schools: Claymont High School, Dover High School, New Philadelphia High School, and Tuscarawas Valley High School.
There were 142 individual bridges submitted. All students were given a participation award. In addition, the first and second place winners will be given the opportunity to compete in the International Contest to be held in Dallas, TX.
The first place award went to Ryder Triplett from Claymont High School and second place was awarded to Nate Ackerman from Tuscarawas Valley High School.
