Southern Rock Band 38 Special plays PAC

March 19 at the Performing Arts Center

The wild-eyed southern boys of 38 Special come to the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas on March 19 at 7:30 p.m.

After more than four decades together, 38 Special continues to bring their signature blast of Southern Rock to over 100 cities a year. Their many Gold and Platinum album awards stand in testament to the endurance of a legendary powerhouse.

With sales in excess of 20 million, most associate the band with their arena-rock pop smashes, “Hold On Loosely,” “Rockin’ Into the Night,” “Caught Up in You,” “Fantasy Girl,” “If I’d Been the One,” “Back Where You Belong,” “Chain Lightnin’,” “Second Chance,” and more – timeless hits that remain a staple on radio, immediately recognizable from the first opening chord, and paving the way to their present-day touring regimen.

Tickets for 38 Special start at $48 and are on sale now at the Performing Arts Center box office, 330.308.6400 or online at www.kent.edu/tusc/pac. The box office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Performing Arts Center’s 2017-2018 Season is sponsored by Michael Taylor Insurance and Financial Incorporated, an Allstate Agency.

Free parking is available for all shows. Kent State Tuscarawas is located at 330 University Dr. NE in New Philadelphia.
