Tuscarawas Court Participate in Kent Campus Homecoming Parade

Our Kent Sate Tuscarawas Homecoming Court participated in the 2016 Kent State Homecoming Parade on Sat., Oct. 1. Featured on the float were Queen Tayla Barker of New Philadelphia, King Marcos Borges of Avar, SP, Bazil, Sarah Sanders of Port Washington, Christopher Adamsky of New Philadelphia, and Miranda Immel of Dover.

Homecoming Activities that occurred on the Tuscarawas Campus during Homecoming Week Sept. 26 - Oct. 1 included the events below. 

Food Truck Frenzy - Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot and was open to the public. 

A Homecoming Tailgate Party was held Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. outside Founders Hall. During this event the homecoming king and queen were announced. The court is comprised of Christopher Adamsky and Tayla Barker of New Philadelphia, Marcos Borges of Avaré, SP, Brazil, Miranda Immel of Dover and Sarah Sanders of Port Washington. The Kent State Tuscarawas homecoming court represented the campus at the homecoming parade and football game at the Kent Campus on Oct. 1.

The improv musical comedy, Broadway’s Next H!T Musical was on stage at the Performing Arts Center Sept. 30. 

Also on Oct. 1, the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles women’s volleyball team competed against Akron Wayne in women’s volleyball at noon in the Founders Hall gymnasium.
