On Sunday evening Career Exploration and Development hosted the first annual Kent State College Suit Up event with JCPenney at the Chapel Hill Mall location. More than 380 students, faculty, staff, and parents/families walked through the door to shop and saved an estimated $6,000 while participating at this event.

Teacher Employment Day brings together school districts and graduating education majors for on-the-spot networking and employment interviews.

Congratulations to the Office of Experiential Education and Civic Engagement for their great work in coordinating a series of events to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The event was attended by more than 180 volunteers at 9 different service sites all totalling 543 hours of service.

Elisha will serve as the Assistant Director and bring significant experience working with TRIO Programs and diversity initiatives. Emily will serve as the Program Coordinator for Academic Diversity Outreach, McNair Scholars Program and ERLI Faculty Connections programs.
