9:00 - 10:30 a.m.. l Remarks and Refereed Roundtables including:

  • Emeriti Inspirations: "Living the Curriculum: Part II" - Judy Oslin, Professor Emerita, Exercise Leisure and Support
  • University Teaching Council Roundtable

10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. l Dialogue with Scholars: "To Pun or Not to Pun" - Jerry M. Lewis, Professor Emeritus, Sociology and Lisa Waite, Sr. Lecturer, Communication Studies

12:30 - 2:30 p.m. l Luncheon, remarks by President Beverly Warren

The UTC Celebrating College Teaching Conference is one among several opportunities to share and fulfill the main objectives of the teaching mission at Kent State University. This conference, which includes all eight campuses, takes place every year in the month of October.


The conference is free to all who support teaching at Kent State. Plan your course syllabus accordingly so you can attend.
