Student Multimedia Assistant Position
The Department of PanAfrican Studies (DPAS) is seeking a highfunctioning student assistant to design printed and electronic media for marketing, outreach and recruitment efforts. We are looking for students who are organized, detail oriented, require little supervision and have a strong ability to adhere to deadlines.
Student Multimedia Assistant Position Description & Responsibilities:
Serve as primary designer of print and electronic posters, flyers, programs, signs, brochures, power points for the Department of PanAfrican Studies; assists with production of web recruitment materials; works with DPAS Chairperson, Outreach Coordinator, and Center of PanAfrican Culture Director and other units in the production of multimedia including interactive recruitment tools, flash presentations, podcasts, slideshows, maps and video; prepares documents for downloading using adobe acrobat and other software; maintains digital photo libraries; provides support in the development of Web related products as needed; ensures web site, selections and pages meet University web standards; designs and updates content on web pages; assists with selection of new content by incorporating photos illustrations and logos; publishes web site content using web publishing software. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
● Must possess minimum of two years design experience using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
