Main Navigation

The main navigation at the top of your website should not wrap to more than one line.  To correct your navigation, either:

1. Rearchitect the navigation, or
2. Shorten the menu title. 

To do either you must:

1. Select the Group button on your home page.
2. Select the Menus link.
3. Choose  the list links link under Operations.
4. You will be presented with the navigation hierarchy.  You can either select edit to update the link title or you can drag one section under another by selecting the four way arrow before the link title.

A navigation title can also be changed when editing a page by selecting the Menu settings tab near the bottom of the page and changing the Menu link title.

Remove Hover Text & Add Titles

In edit mode locate the image in the media area:

1. Select the Edit button for that image.
2. Remove the Tooltip title text.  
3. If you would like text to appear on the image, add a Short Title and/or Subtitle before saving. You can see an example of these titles on the School of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies website. The bottom, larger text is the Short Title.
4. While there, please make sure your Alt Text is accurate too.

Replace Mosaic Images

Images added to a mosaic menu should be:

1. A maximum of 800x400px
2. 1MB or less.

If your site uses graphics, the Information Graphics Library displays the various graphics that have already been created for use on Drupal with the option to download the graphic.

To replace either an image or a graphic:

1. Select the Group button on your home page.
2. Select the Menus link.
3. Choose the list links link for the mosaic menu under Operations.
4. You will be presented with the pages in the menu.
5. Select edit for the page that needs updated. 
6. Scroll toward the bottom of the page to select the Show Advance Setting option. Additional fields will be displayed. 
7. Replace the image as required.

The Information Graphics Library displays the various graphics that have already been created for use on Drupal with the option to download the graphic.

Add or Update Contact Information

In edit mode scroll to the Group Address, Group Email and/or Group Phone fields to add your department's contact information.
