Team Oriented Problem Solving
Participants will gain an understanding of the essentials for their business to succeed and how Team Oriented Problem Solving (TOPS), Lean and Six Sigma methods are to be applied. Employees assigned to improvement teams will learn problem solving techniques and be motivated to work in a team environment with Black Belts to achieve breakthrough improvements. Participants will learn team dynamics and consensus building tactics. In addition to team synergy methods, the participants will learn the TOPS approach for team building and project selection.

Kent State training and certification facilitator, Robert Skillman is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Lean Master Sensei who has been training and certifying Black Belts in Six Sigma and Lean methods since 1997.
Stephen Skillman is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt who facilitates the training of the Lean Six Sigma Black Belts at Kent State University. Skillman received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Lake Erie College.
