Ohio Latino Affairs Summit

Dear Kent State University Faculty and Staff,

The Ohio Latino Affairs Commission and Kent State will host the 2023 Ohio Latino Affairs Summit from

9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, at the university’s Kent Campus. Attendance is free, but registration is required.

This marks the first year that the education, healthcare and business/workforce development summits will be hosted in-person in a single summit. The Ohio Latino Affairs Summit will bring educators, legislators, state and local communities, businesses and organizations, students and other stakeholders together to discuss issues affecting the Hispanic and Latino communities and how best to support them. In-person and virtual sessions will address this year’s theme, “¡Juntos! Latino Growth Is Ohio Growth.”

Complete your registration today. Visit www.kent.edu/ehhs/olas for more information about the summit. If you cannot attend in person, please consider the virtual option.

We look forward to seeing you there!
