Outreach Program Officer
Born and raised by two artists and college professors in Boston, MA, Anna attended UMass Amherst, majoring in Sociology and Education. Studying abroad in Rome, she traveled extensively throughout Europe, entertaining her love for art history and international cuisine, and honing her Italian language skills. As a peer advisor and international student mentor at UMass, she cultivated an interest in helping students within the context of higher education.
As outreach coordinator for the Department of Pan-African studies she seeks to encourage students not only to explore the exceptional contributions of peoples of African descent throughout the globe, but to also practice collective work and responsibility by giving back in the communities that they live in.
