Schenk, 19, of Port Clinton, Ohio, was discovered unconscious in her residence hall this morning and pronounced dead by the Portage County Coroner’s Office. - Posted Nov. 9, 2009 - Residence Hall Students Received H1N1 Flu Vaccine Last week, the university acquired its first shipment of the H1N1 vaccine and conducted clinics for vaccinating residence hall students. Held at the Eastway Private Dining Room on Nov. 3 and 4, approximately 1,000 students received the H1N1 flu-mist vaccine. Students from the College of Nursing assisted University Health Services personnel in administering the vaccines. In addition, about 500 people received the seasonal flu vaccine.
