From providing basic needs support to designing culturally enriching experiences to assisting with the cost of books and other course materials to enhancing student life facilities around our university, your contributions ensure that we can do the work necessary to see our students succeed.

Support the Division of Student Life

  • Academic Success - Gifts support Kent State University student's academic persistence and graduation goals through the Last Dollar Scholarship.
  • Capital Facilities and Projects - Funding supports the enhancement of the physical structures and spaces under the care of the Division of Student Affairs, including but not limited to Student Center, Recreation and Wellness Center, etc.
  • Holistic Support - Funds support Kent State students' basic and emergency needs through the CARES Center.
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing - Gifts increase the resources for services and programs that support student's mental health and wellbeing.
  • Student Life Support Fund - Funding supports and sustains student employment and educational opportunities within the Division of Student Affairs.

  • CARES Center - The CARES Center is a space that supports students who have challenges with their basic needs.
  • Center for Adult and Veterans Services - The Center for Adult and Veteran Services enhances the experiences of adult, military-connected, and parenting students both in and out of the classroom.
  • Center for Sexual and Relationship Violence Support Services (SRVSS) - The Center for Sexual and Relationship Violence Support Services empowers those affected by power-based personal violence and educates the community about healthy relationships and bystander action.
  • Center for Student Involvement - The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) fosters student engagement through various involvement opportunities.
  • Ice Arena - The Ice Arena offers an assortment of services, including a multi-purpose meeting room, skate sharpening, and a full-service snack bar and is home to the Kent State ACHA Hockey and Kent State Figure Skating Teams.
  • International Student Affairs - The International Student Affairs office is dedicated to helping international students discover meaningful ways to engage in campus life, while also providing events and programs to showcase the diversity of students.
  • LGBTQ+ Center - The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Plus (LGBTQ+) Center is dedicated to providing the students, faculty and staff at Kent State University with education, training, support and resources that cater to the gender and sexual minority community and its allies.
  • Recreation and Wellness Services - The Department of Recreational and Wellness Services mission is to promote a lifelong commitment to health and wellness for the people we serve through exceptional programs, learning opportunities, services and facilities.
  • Student Accessibility Services - Student Accessibility Services (SAS) provides accommodations to students with documented disabilities, allowing equal access of the university's programs, curricula, and services.
  • Student Multicultural Center - The E. Timothy Moore Student Multicultural Center (SMC) values growth of the individual student, cultural affirmation, empowerment of students, creating a sense of belonging and connecting communities that affirms appreciation for difference.
  • Women's Center - The Kent State University Women’s Center supports students, faculty members and staff members through advocacy and education about women, gender, and diversity.
