Here at Kent State University we have the honor of homing the first Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) Certified full dining location on a college campus in the U.S. Located in Prentice Hall, Prentice Cafe will give students an entire new perception of eating healthy foods. Serving healthy food choices and locally grown items, Prentice Cafe is one of our safest eateries on campus. The Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO), a program of GIG, is a leader in the verification of quality, integrity, and purity of gluten-free products. One of the top certification programs in the world, GFCO inspects products and manufacturing facilities for gluten, in an effort to maintain strict industry standards.
