Kent State University’s athletics program includes baseball, basketball (women’s), basketball (men’s), cross country, field hockey, football, golf (women’s), golf (men’s), gymnastics, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball, wrestling. Kent State University has developed state-of-the-art facilities to support our student athletes.

The Kent State Athletics Ticket Office conducts ticketing for eight of the Golden Flashes varsity sports: football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, gymnastics,wrestling, baseball and indoor track and field. You may also purchase tickets online or over the phone. Kent State students are admitted FREE to ALL regular season home athletic events by presenting their FLASHcard.

Do you love to play recreational sports and stay fit? The Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC) offers you state-of-the-art facilities and opportunities to play for enjoyment and to improve your game. The SRWC has aquatics programs, outdoor basketball courts, outdoor tennis, outdoor sand volleyball, indoor climbing walls, an indoor track and a packed schedule of fitness, dance and other classes.

Club sports are formed by students with a common interest and desire to participate in a specific sport or activity, from competitive sports like ultimate frisbee, to recreational clubs like badminton and fencing.

Kent State students, faculty, staff and their spouses can get involved recreational sports, programs, and/or activities in which participants compete as teams or as individuals against other Kent State University intramural teams or individuals.

At Kent State, it’s always the perfect time for ice skating! Kent State’s own Ice Arena offers public skating, skating lessons, hockey programs, broomball and more.
