I need help understanding my student's financial aid package

Our One Stop for Student Services would be happy to look through your student's financial aid package with you. You can reach them at 330-672-6000.

How can I receive more financial assistance?

If you or your family have experienced a loss of income, have questions about applying for financial aid and scholarships, or would like to learn about payment plan options, please reach out to us at 330-672-6000.

When can my student apply for on-campus housing?

Your student can apply for on-campus housing beginning FEB. 1 through the University Housing website. Make sure to review our outstanding on-campus housing options and to explore our Living Learning Programs tab for information on Kent State’s many academic partnerships and initiatives.

When can my student register for Destination Kent State (DKS), New Student Orientation?

Your student can register for Destination Kent State (DKS), New Student Orientation beginning FEB. 1. Parents, family and guests are invited to attend.

How will parents/students know what type of computer they need?

Each college will communicate with your student if a specific computer is recommended or needed for their classes. Please reach out to your student’s college for more information.

When will the fall semester start?

The fall 2022 semester begins Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022.
